🎬 COMPLETED PILOT

AFTER SÃO JOÃO

🎬 SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT

THE PORTO MANUSCRIPT

A letter meant for someone else. A story that becomes his own.

When a letter from Sweden arrives for his apartment’s previous occupant, writer Lars Nyberg finds an unexpected connection to his own past.

Set in Porto’s Foz Velha neighborhood, this eight-part short-form series follows a writer whose search for answers begins to shape the manuscript on his screen.

🎬 ONGOING PROJECT

NATA BANDIT

A mysterious bandit is stealing Portugal's favorite pastry. Every workshop begins with the same simple premise, but every participant creates a completely different film.

Participants work together to develop the action, film the chase, and edit their own one-minute version, discovering how many different stories can emerge from the same creative framework.

Creative. Collaborative. Unforgettable.

ABOUT BOB

I’m Bob Tapper, a creative producer and storyteller based in Porto, Portugal.

I created Filmmaking Portugal to develop original stories inspired by the places, people, and atmosphere of Porto and across Portugal—from familiar landmarks to everyday moments that spark an idea.

Through short films, episodic series, and hands-on filmmaking workshops, I bring creative people together to turn those ideas into stories for the screen.

Have a story in mind or interested in collaborating? I’d love to hear from you.
